Your Heart Health

Prevention of heart and lung disease starts with education.

Nine in ten Canadians have at least one risk factor for heart disease and stroke, but with the right education, 80% of that risk can be prevented.

Heart Disease and Prevention

Through the development of healthy behaviours like healthy eating, reducing stress, being active and living smoke-free, your risk of heart disease and stroke can be drastically reduced. All of these habits contribute to improved heart and lung health and can help prevent disease for years to come.

Through one on one consultations with our cardiologists, patients are provided with information and support needed to help further manage their cardiac risk factors and/or disease process, and are given guidance to help kick-start a healthier lifestyle.
