Our care clinics are proud to offer services and education on respiratory health, smoking cessation, lung disease management and lab services through our fully equipped pulmonary function lab.
For a consultation with one of our specialists, a referral from a patient’s doctor is required.
Most services at our clinics are covered by Alberta Health Care.

Services
Full Pulmonary Function Testing
This is a series of breathing tests which the patient is coached through. The aim is to help assess the health of your lungs.
Spirometry
Used to assess how well your lungs work by measuring how much air you inhale and how quickly you exhale.
Cardiac Exercise Stress Testing
Determine how your heart responds to stress such as exercise. This test will help assess an appropriate level of exercise based on heart health, and diagnosis of coronary artery disease.
Electrocardiogram (ECG)
Assess the electrical activity of your heart to diagnose any abnormalities. The test is done through small electrode patches on the chest, arms and legs.
Pulmonary Consultation
This includes an investigation of your detailed medical history, as well as a physical exam and possible testing, to determine a diagnosis and reduce the odds of future pulmonary events.
Cardiac Consultation
This involves an evaluation of your cardiac health, including a physical exam and possible testing to determine a diagnosis and reduce the odds of future cardiac events.
Occupational Medicine
Provides medical surveillance activities along with the diagnosis and treatment of work-related injury and disease.
